Blackstone Griddle Holiday Hors d’Oeuvres Grilled Stuffed Mushrooms
The holiday season is the perfect time to elevate your culinary skills and delight your friends and family with delectable hors d'oeuvres. And what better way to do this than using a versatile Blackstone griddle? The weather may be chilly, but grilling enthusiasts don't let cold temperatures prevent them from creating hot, delicious snacks for their loved ones. So bundle up and get cooking!
Ingredients:
- 1 lb large mushrooms (button or cremini)
- 1/2 cup cream cheese (softened)
- 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- 1/4 cup finely chopped cooked bacon (optional)
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for brushing
Step 1: Prepare the Mushrooms
Clean the mushrooms and remove the stems. Set mushroom caps aside and finely chop the stems.
Step 2: Prepare the Filling
In a bowl, mix together the cream cheese, parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese, minced garlic, parsley, chopped bacon (if using), and the chopped mushroom stems. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 3: Stuff the Mushrooms
Spoon the filling mixture into each mushroom cap. Press it in gently and mound it slightly.
Step 4: Preheat the Griddle
Preheat your Blackstone griddle over medium heat. Lightly brush the griddle surface with olive oil.
Step 5: Cook the Mushrooms
Place the stuffed mushrooms on the griddle. Close the lid if your griddle has one, or you can cover with a large pan or foil. Cook for about 10-15 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender and the filling is golden brown. You may need to rotate the mushrooms occasionally for even cooking. Once done, remove from the griddle and let them cool slightly before serving.
Make this festive season unforgettable by celebrating with friends, family and fabulous food! Bon Appetit!
