Styrofoam SM extruded polystyrene (XPS) foam Insulation is a versatile, multipurpose board that fits the needs of the commercial and residential foundation and slab market. The freeze-thaw cycling of the foundation wall is minimized, reducing the possibility of cracking. And a warmer foundation wall reduces the potential for condensation and adds to the thermal mass of the building. Without compromising on quality, durability or thermal performance, we are introducing a new Styrofoam brand XPS formulation that reduces global warming potential (GWP) and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.

• Styrofoam SM is an extruded polystyrene closed cell insulation providing a long term insulating performance of R-5.0 per inch (RSI of 0.88 per 25 mm)
• Resistant to degradation from soil components and will retain insulating performance characteristics after prolonged exposure to moisture - will not corrode| rot or support mold growth
• Have a minimum compressive strength of 30 psi (CAN/ULC S701 Type 4)
• New formulation reduces global warming potential (GWP) and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions - you will get aesthetics| performance and sustainability
