This sediment cartridge is designed to fit a wide range of 10" filter holders, making it a versatile choice for various filtration equipment. It serves as an efficient initial filter to prolong the service life of delicate pore cartridges by capturing larger particles. Each set includes two cartridges, providing an extra for future use. Made from premium grade polystyrene beads with polyethylene gaskets, it effectively reduces particles at the rated micron size (5 micron nominal). The cartridge reduces dirt, rust, sand, silt, and other particulate matter from water, ensuring efficient sediment removal over a long lifespan. It fits most standard 10" filter housings and is resistant to media migration even under high differential pressure. Meeting CSA B483.1 and NSF/ANSI 61 standards, it provides reliable sediment reduction.
