Schluter®-KERDI-SEAL-PS and Schluter®-KERDI-SEAL-MV are prefabricated waterproofing seals with over-molded rubber gaskets designed for protrusions through KERDI, DITRA, or DITRA-XL membranes and protect moisture-sensitive backing panels at the mixing valve. It is also intended to protect the exposed edges of moisture-sensitive backing panels at the pipe openings in Kerdi shower installations. For a trouble-free pipe installation in the bathroom, this seal fits tight to prevent leaks in the wrong places.
