The EasyHeat 80' AHB Pipe Freeze Protection Cable provides a reliable solution to prevent pipes from freezing. This efficient cable system is easy to install and includes a built-in temperature control to conserve power. The cable features fixed resistance, is pre-terminated, and rated at 7 Watts per foot. It is pre-assembled and ready to install, plugging into a standard 120 VAC outlet. An integral thermostat saves energy by powering the cable only when needed. Durable components include tough XLPE inner insulation, continuous ground braid, and a weather-resistant PVC outer jacket. An indicator light in the AHB plug assures the system has power. Energy-saving models with bi-metallic thermostats minimize radio or TV interference. Suitable for commercial and residential metal or plastic water supply pipes subject to freezing temperatures, it meets cUL Listed and CSA certified standards.
