Air and moisture barrier is a dimpled membrane made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) with virgin HDPE layer on the outside and core recycled HDPE on the inside makes the barrier most durable dimpled membrane. The dimple pattern creates an air-gap between membrane and foundation wall allowing incidental water to flow into footing drain. The air-gap gives a safe separation and full capillary break between the foundation wall and any ground moisture.
