The drain tile extension is designed to sit on top of the leaf chute. It covers the gap between the downspout and the chute. It fits outside of the downspout and can easily be moved up or down like a sleeve. Should you ever need to remove the chute from your underground pipe for any reason. It also fits directly into and over the 4" inground pipes. Remember to place the lower downspout bracket with enough space left down to the DTE so you can move it up when needed. Also terminate the bottom of the downspout halfway down into the DTE to allow it to move up.
