The bridge piece is used between the elbows. It is basically a small downspout but is preshrunk 2” in both ends. The bridge is designed to be cut. One bridge cut in the center gives you two (2) pieces or bridges to work with. Measuring the distance between the elbows onsite is always the way to go. Remember to add 4" to the distance between the elbows before you cut. This to accommodate for the overlap, 2” + 2”.
