Vapour barrier extender has a PVC membrane with flat flange all around construction to enclose 6 in SlimLED fixtures. It measures 13-7/8 in x 8-7/8 in. This vapour barrier extender comes with an adhesive mounting collar that adheres to the vapour barrier, restricting air leakage from your living space into the attic. It is great to use with Liteline recessed IC rated fixtures to avoid air leakage. Vapour barrier extender is cETLus/UL listed and has NBC compliant.
- The body is constructed from a membrane with flat flange all around to better enclose 6 in SlimLED fixtures
- Can be inserted into insulated ceiling after drywall is installed
- Material is UL listed to 90 deg C
- Required to be installed in order to comply with specific National Building Code of Canada (NBC) regulations
- The vapour barrier is equipped with an adhesive mounting collar that adheres to the vapour barrier, preventing air leakage from your living space into the attic
