Edmundston store manager Jeff Ouellet has 26 years at Kent under his belt. Starting as a student in high school, Jeff has worked in the hardware and paint departments, receiving and re-buying before moving into management as an assistant manager and finally store manager.

Jeff recalls that since day one, he always had mentors available to him and he’s glad to be able to now fill that role for others. Team management fits his personality, as one of his favorite things is helping people to learn and reach their next level. Being a store manager helps him facilitate that kind of growth in his employees and it makes him proud to see what his team can achieve, saying, “Nothing is more gratifying than to see one of my employees being promoted into a key position.”

An avid outdoorsman, he is glad to be living in Edmundston, a town that he says is working toward becoming the ultimate four-season outdoor destination in Atlantic region. He also enjoys the ongoing learning process of working on his personal garden, using the winter months to study gardening tips and then applying that new knowledge in the spring.
