Online orders through KENT.ca can be delivered to our customers in a variety of ways. These options will be made available during the checkout process.

 

 

Shipping Options

During our free shipping promotion, minimum order value of $150 before tax for Free Kent Delivery. No minimum order on Next-day parcel deliveries. Next-day delivery applies to orders placed for delivery in NB, NS, PEI, and NL only. Promotion valid for a limited time

We encourage those that are feeling sick to respectfully stay home in order to help prevent the spread of the virus. While deciding how to approach shopping, according to your own personal needs, we would like to remind you that there are four ways to shop with KENT:

1. Pickup Orders

  • Please wait for an email stating “Your order is ready for pickup.” before proceeding to the store.
  • For in-store pickup: Please go to the customer service desk or follow directional signage at the entrance leading to the designated order pick-up location. 
  • For curbside pickup: Drive to your selected KENT store and park in one of the designated curbside spaces. Call the number on the sign and an associate will bring your order to you. 
  • To collect your order, please bring the following information: 
    • A copy of your pick-up email
    • A valid piece of Government Photo ID

2. Kent Delivery

  • Kent Fleet Dispatch operates 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday, and any orders placed outside these hours will be actioned at the beginning of the next operating day*. ​​
  • Kent Fleet Delivery Drivers may deliver your order from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Saturday*. ​
  • Kent Fleet Delivery Orders will be delivered on a Kent delivery vehicle from the store, or a nearby store, selected in “My Store” above the menu. If the “Preferred Date” or “Preferred Time” time you select is not available, a Kent associate will contact you by phone to schedule the delivery.​ ​
  • Kent Delivery is available for most items, some exclusions apply (Ex. Baby Barns, Hot Tubs, etc.). ​
  • A flat delivery fee will be applied during the checkout process. This fee covers delivery of most products up to 50km from the selected store. Additional fees may apply if extra distance, special equipment, road tolls, ferry tolls, or other fees are incurred. We will contact you if extra fees apply.​
  • Kent reserves the right to cancel delivery orders based on cost, logistics and fragility of items. If Kent exercises the right to cancel, the customer will be contacted and every reasonable effort to satisfy the customer will be made.​​
  • Appliances are not included with Kent Delivery Services.

3. Parcel Delivery

  • Free next-day delivery for orders over $35.
  • Orders placed before 11: 00 AM (Atlantic)  are dispatched the same day for the next-day delivery. Orders placed after 11: 00 AM (Atlantic)  will be shipped by the next business day.
  • Next-day delivery applies to orders placed for delivery in NB, NS, PEI, and NL only. 
  • Next-day delivery is subject to the location, weight, size, and availability of the products ordered.
  • Weekends and statutory holidays are excluded from next-day delivery.
  • Orders for standard delivery will be shipped during weekdays. 
  • Standard parcel delivery is anticipated to take one to three business days within the Atlantic region. Orders shipping outside of the Atlantic region may take up to ten days to arrive.
  • Items with dimensions under 5 cu. ft and weight up to 75lbs are eligible for Parcel Delivery.   
  • Fragile, temperature-sensitive, and items specified as dangerous goods such as flammable and corrosive gas or liquids, and lithium-ion batteries are excluded from parcel delivery. 

All Delivery / Fulfillment timeframes are estimates and may change depending on unforeseen circumstances such as Weather, product availability. Kent reserves the right to cancel shipping orders based on costs, logistics, and fragility of items. If Kent exercises the right to cancel, the customer will be contacted and every reasonable effort to satisfy the customer will be made. 

1. Contactless Curbside Pick Up

  • Place your order online to buy online, pick-up in-store*
  • Wait for an email confirmation that your order is ready for curbside pick-up
  • Upon arrival, call the number on the sign in the designated curbside pick-up spot, provide the spot number you are parked in and an associate will bring your order to you. Please ensure that you have your ID and order confirmation number.

2. Pick Up In-Store

  • If Pick Up In-Store is desired, the store selected in the "My Store" above the menu will be used as the location for this shipping option and it will have a delivery fee of $0.00.
  • Customers are asked to wait for their confirmation email before coming to pickup their order.
  • When you arrive at the store please go to the customer service desk to pick up your order.

3. Ship to Home

  • Parcel deliveries will be shipped from Moncton, NB via BNI, Midland, Canada Post Expedited Parcel, Canada Post Xpresspost, and Fedex Ground. Prices will be shown after an address is entered during the checkout process.
  • Delivery times are estimates only. Actual delivery times may vary. Shipping will not occur on holidays.
  • Shipping costs are based on the size and weight of your order within Canada and USA. Rates will be adjusted accordingly depending on product weight and dimensions, and shipping location. Depending on the product and the shipping location, some shipping options may not be available.

4. Kent Delivery

  • Kent Delivery operates 8:00AM to 5:00PM, Monday to Friday, and any orders placed outside these hours will be actioned at the beginning of the next operational day.
  • Kent Delivery Orders will be delivered on a Kent delivery vehicle from the store or a nearby store selected as “My Store”. We will contact you by phone within 24 hours to schedule the delivery, pending any unforeseen circumstances. Kent Delivery is available for most items, some exclusions apply (Ex: baby barns, hot tubs, etc.). A flat rate fee of $50 will be applied during the checkout process. This fee covers delivery of most items up to 50km from the selected store. Additional fees may apply if special equipment, road tolls, ferry tolls, or other fees are incurred.

Kent reserves the right to cancel shipping orders based on costs, logistics and fragility of items. If Kent exercises the right to cancel, the customer will be contacted and every reasonable effort to satisfy the customer will be made.

Appliances - White Glove Delivery

Washing Machine Delivery Information:

  1. Is basic installation included?
  2. Yes, basic installation is included for washers. Basic installation can only occur at the time of your scheduled delivery appointment.

    Is the hose included?

    No, service will be provided if new hoses are provided by customer to the delivery team at time of delivery

  3. Is Haul-Away included?
  4. Haul-Away is included for select major appliances. All commercial appliances are excluded from Haul-Away service. Haul-Away must be scheduled when booking your delivery appointment. This service can only be provided at the time of your delivery and must meet the Haul-Away Requirements.

  5. What should I expect upon delivery of my washing machine?
  6. When receiving your item, the delivery team will:

  • Remove shipping restraints; attach front legs; adjust rear legs.
  • Connect existing drain hose to new unit.
  • Connect new waterline hose kit to existing hot/cold taps.
  • Level appliance as required.
  • Check for water leaks.
  • Leave all "To be removed by recipient only" literature on/in the product where attached by the manufacturer.
  • Gather all other literature and provide them to the recipient.

The delivery team will not:

  • Hook up the washer if no electrical grounding is available.
  • Connect the new washer to old hoses. Old hoses must be disconnected from the home by the homeowner prior to delivery so that 2 new standard 6' Stainless Steel washer fill hoses can be installed by the delivery team. Custom new hoses are not available.

Delivery completion Exclusions - During delivery, the delivery teams will not:

  • Remove spring-loaded, folding and sliding glass doors.
  • Remove windows.
  • Hoist Merchandise or lift product above their waist.
  • Place Merchandise on top of an elevator.
  • Perform carpentry work (removing molding/banisters drilling into recipient's walls or floors, etc.).
  • Perform electrical work (changing fuses, wiring within an electrical outlet).
  • The delivery team will not allow the recipient to carry Merchandise or assist with Merchandise hook-up.
  • The delivery team will not stack units using old stacking kits; kits must be new.
  • The delivery team will not stack a new unit onto an existing old unit.
  • The delivery team will not disconnect old units; old unit must be disconnected in order to hookup new units.
  • Unplug from wall outlet
  • Disconnect water hoses from old unit and exiting hot/cold water taps
  • Disconnect drain hose from old unit (keep hose connected to wall to drain)
  • Reverse washer door
  • Cut or alter the manufacturer's attachments.

If unable to complete a hook-up, the delivery team will:

Explain why the hook-up cannot be completed. Should this occur, please contact Kent.

Electric Dryer Delivery Information:

  1. Is basic installation included?
  2. Yes, basic installation is included for electric dryers. Basic installation can only occur at the time of your scheduled delivery appointment.

    Is the dryer vent included ?

    No, service will be provided if new dryer vent is provided by the customer to the delivery team at time of delivery

  3. Is Haul-Away included?
  4. Haul-Away is included for select major appliances. All commercial appliances are excluded from Haul-Away service. Haul-Away must be scheduled when booking your delivery appointment. This service can only be provided at the time of your delivery and must meet the Haul-Away Requirements.

  5. What should I expect upon delivery of my electric dryer?
  6. When receiving your item, the delivery team will:

  • Attach dryer legs.
  • Connect to an existing 220 volt outlet using a new "pigtail".
  • Connect dryer vent at the back and the side, only if the side vent connection is already installed.
  • Test the appliance to ensure it's in proper working condition.
  • Level the appliance as required.
  • Leave all "To be removed by recipient only" literature on/in the product where attached by the manufacturer..
  • Gather all other literature and provide them to the recipient.

The delivery team will not:

  • Install the appliance if the existing vent does not vent outside the home.
  • Install the appliance if the metal vent cannot be connected to an existing venting system.
  • Connect the appliance to a ceiling vent.
  • Connect the new dryer to the old vent. The old vent must be disconnected from the home's venting system by the homeowner prior to delivery so that the new 8' Aluminum Foil dryer vent can be connected by the delivery team. Custom new vents are not available.

Delivery completion Exclusions - During delivery, the delivery teams will not:

  • Remove spring-loaded, folding and sliding glass doors.
  • Remove windows.
  • Hoist Merchandise or lift product above their waist.
  • Place Merchandise on top of an elevator.
  • Perform carpentry work (removing molding/banisters drilling into recipient's walls or floors, etc.).
  • Perform electrical work (changing fuses, wiring within an electrical outlet).
  • The delivery team will not allow the recipient to carry Merchandise or assist with Merchandise hook-up.
  • The delivery team will not stack units using old stacking kits; kits must be new.
  • The delivery team will not stack a new unit onto an existing old unit.
  • The delivery team will not disconnect old units; old unit must be disconnected in order to hookup new units.
  • Reverse dryer door
  • Cut or alter the manufacturer's attachments.

If unable to complete a hook-up, the delivery team will:

Gas Dryer Delivery Information:

  1. Is basic installation included?
  2. Yes, put in place and level only. Gas hookup/unhooking not included. Basic installation can only occur at the time of your scheduled delivery appointment.

    Is the hose included?

    No, service will be provided if new dryer vent is provided by the customer to the delivery team at time of delivery

  3. Is Haul-Away included?
  4. Haul-Away is included for select major appliances. All commercial appliances are excluded from Haul-Away service. Haul-Away must be scheduled when booking your delivery appointment. This service can only be provided at the time of your delivery and must meet the Haul-Away Requirements.

  5. What should I expect upon delivery of my gas dryer?
  6. When receiving your item, the delivery team will:

  • Connect dryer vent at the back and the side, only if the side vent connection is already installed.
  • Leave all "To be removed by recipient only" literature on/in the product where attached by the manufacturer.
  • Connect new waterline hose kit to existing hot/cold taps.
  • Gather all other literature and provide them to the recipient.
  • Level appliance as required.

The delivery team will not:

  • Connect to the gas line.
  • Test that the on-off switch starts cycle and for possible gas leaks.
  • Install the appliance if the metal vent cannot be conected to the existing venting system.
  • Install the appliance if the gas supply is to be connected to a liquid propane supply source or to any other supply than natural gas.
  • Install the appliance if the gas shut-off valve is NOT above the floor.
  • Connect the appliance to a ceiling vent.
  • Connect the new dryer to the old vent. Old vent must be disconnected from the home's venting system by the homeowner prior to delivery so that a new 8' Aluminum Foil dryer vent can be connected by the delivery team.Custom new vents are not available.

Delivery completion Exclusions - During delivery, the delivery teams will not:

Steam Washers & Dryers Delivery Information:

  1. Is basic installation included?
  2. Yes, basic installation is included for washers provided all accessories' parts are provided. Basic installation can only occur at the time of your scheduled delivery appointment.

  3. Is Haul-Away included?
  4. Haul-Away is included for select major appliances. All commercial appliances are excluded from Haul-Away service. Haul-Away must be scheduled when booking your delivery appointment. This service can only be provided at the time of your delivery and must meet the Haul-Away Requirements.

  5. What should I expect upon delivery of my steam unit?
  6. When receiving your item, the delivery team will:

  • Connect steam hoses and Y connector provided parts are included with the units purchased or customer supplies new at time of delivery.
  • Remove shipping restraints; attach front legs; adjust rear legs.
  • Connect drain hose; connect to existing hot/cold water taps.
  • Connect dryer vent at the back and the side, only if the side vent connection is already installed.
  • Check for water leaks.
  • Leave all "To be removed by recipient only" literature on / in the product where attached by the manufacturer.
  • Gather all other literature and provide them to the recipient.
  • Level appliance as required.

The delivery team will not:

  • Connect steam hoses and Y connector if not available at time of delivery. Refer to the product page to verify if the additional steam hoses are included as these are separate from the standard hoses. If not included, new steam hoses must be purchased separately and available at time of delivery otherwise connection will not be performed and cannot be rescheduled.
  • Install your steam dryer if the water hoses are not disconnected prior to the delivery team's arrival.
  • Install the appliance if the existing vent does not vent outside the home.
  • Install the appliance if the metal vent cannot be connected to an existing venting system.
  • Place Merchandise on top of an elevator

Laundry Pedestals Delivery Information:

  1. Is basic installation included?
  2. Basic installation is not included with laundry pedestals unless purchased with a compatible washer or dryer on the same order. Basic installation can only occur at the time of your scheduled delivery appointment.

  3. Is Haul-Away included?
  4. Haul-Away is not included for stacking kits. If a stacking kit is purchased, the delivery team will not take back old kits.

  5. What should I expect upon delivery of my Laundry Pedestals?
  6. When receiving your item, the delivery team will:

  • Install pedestal where the pedestal is delivered with the laundry appliance or the customer already has a pedestal, provided the pedestal is compatible with the model of laundry appliance.

The delivery team will not:

  • Install if the pedestal is not compatible with the model of laundry appliance being delivered.
  • Go back if the pedestal is not present at the time of delivery of the landry appliance.
  • unstack Washer and Dryer if they are on existing pedestals

Delivery completion Exclusions - During delivery, the delivery teams will not:

  • Remove spring-loaded, folding and sliding glass doors.
  • Remove windows.
  • Hoist Merchandise or lift product above their waist.
  • Place Merchandise on top of an elevator.
  • Perform carpentry work (removing molding/banisters drilling into recipient's walls or floors, etc.).
  • Perform electrical work (changing fuses, wiring within an electrical outlet).
  • The delivery team will not allow the recipient to carry Merchandise or assist with Merchandise hook-up.

If unable to complete a hook-up, the delivery team will:

Refrigerators & Freezers Delivery Information:

  1. Is basic installation included?
  2. Yes, basic installation is included for refrigerators and freezers. Basic installation can only occur at the time of your scheduled delivery appointment.

  3. Is Haul-Away included?
  4. Haul-Away is included for select major appliances. All commercial appliances are excluded from Haul-Away service. Haul-Away must be scheduled when booking your delivery appointment. This service can only be provided at the time of your delivery and must meet the Haul-Away Requirements.

  5. What should I expect upon delivery of my washing machine?
  6. When receiving your item, the delivery team will:

  • install door handles
  • Plug in the appliance
  • Remove and re-attach handles and doors to complete delivery, as needed.
  • Align the doors as required.
  • Level the product as required.
  • Leave all "To be removed by Customer only" literature on or in the product.
  • Hand recipient all other literature.

The delivery team will not:

  • Connect/disconnect a water line, including ice maker installation.
  • Shut off the residential water main.
  • Install manufacturer-provided "anti-tip" or other range stability device.

Delivery completion Exclusions - During delivery, the delivery teams will not:

  • Remove spring-loaded, folding and sliding glass doors.
  • Remove windows.
  • Hoist Merchandise or lift product above their waist.
  • Place Merchandise on top of an elevator.
  • Perform carpentry work (removing molding/banisters drilling into recipient's walls or floors, etc.).
  • Perform electrical work (changing fuses, wiring within an electrical outlet).

  5. What should I expect upon delivery of my Gas Ranges?
  6. When receiving your item, the delivery team will:

  • Remove protective plastic, inside and out of the appliance.
  • Level merchandise as required.
  • Leave all "To be removed by recipient only" literature on/in the product where attached by the manufacturer.
  • Gather all other literature and provide them to the recipient.

The delivery team will not:

  • Connect/disconnect the gas line.
  • Install manufacturer-provided "anti-tip" or other range stability devices.

Delivery completion Exclusions - During delivery, the delivery teams will not:

  • Remove spring-loaded, folding and sliding glass doors.
  • Remove windows.
  • Hoist Merchandise or lift product above their waist.
  • Place Merchandise on top of an elevator.

  5. What should I expect upon delivery of my Electric Ranges?
  6. When receiving your item, the delivery team will:

  1. Is basic installation included?
  2. Basic installation is not included with slide-in ranges.

  3. Is Haul-Away included?
  4. Haul-Away is included for select major appliances. All commercial appliances are excluded from Haul-Away service. Haul-Away must be scheduled when booking your delivery appointment. This service can only be provided at the time of your delivery and must meet the Haul-Away Requirements.

  5. What should I expect upon delivery of my Slide In Range?
  6. When receiving your item, the delivery team will:

  • Remove protective plastic, inside and out of the appliance.
  • Haul away old unit if uninstalled by owner.
  • Leave all "To be removed by Customer only" literature on or in the product.
  • Hand recipient all other literature.

The delivery team will not:

  • Set up, Hook Up or Level
  • Cut or alter the manufacturer's attachments
  • Place Merchandise on top of an elevator.

Delivery completion Exclusions - During delivery, the delivery teams will not:

  • Removal of blue plastic covering if below 0 degree Celsius

Drop In Range Delivery Information:

  1. Is basic installation included?
  2. Basic installation is not included with drop-in ranges.

  3. Is Haul-Away included?
  4. Haul-Away is included for select major appliances. All commercial appliances are excluded from Haul-Away service. Haul-Away must be scheduled when booking your delivery appointment. This service can only be provided at the time of your delivery and must meet the Haul-Away Requirements.

  5. What should I expect upon delivery of my washing machine?
  6. When receiving your item, the delivery team will:

  • Deliver to the room of choice only.
  • Haul away old unit if uninstalled by owner.

The delivery team will not:

  • Set up, Hook Up or Level
  • Cut or alter the manufacturer's attachments
  • Place Merchandise on top of an elevator.

Dishwasher Delivery Information:

  1. Is basic installation included?
  2. Basic installation is not included with dishwashers.

    Why does my new unit have water in it?

    Why does my new unit have water in it? Every dishwasher must pass quality checks, including running every single one with water before leaving the factory. If your new dishwasher has some water inside the tub or if there is water dripping from the drain hose, this is normal.

  5. What should I expect upon delivery of my Dishwasher?
  6. When receiving your item, the delivery team will:

  • Cut the carton or plastic wrap at bottom (leaving skid or foam base intact).
  • Lift packaging off product to show recipient condition of product.
  • Replace carton or wrap.
  • Level appliance as required.

The delivery team will not:

  • Hook-up and/or install/uninstall dishwasher.
  • Haul Away recipient's current dishwasher if still installed.
  • Cut or alter the manufacturer's attachments.
  • Place Merchandise on top of an elevator.

Portable Dishwasher, Built In Oven, Trash Compactor Delivery Information:

  1. Is basic installation included?
  2. Basic installation is not included for dishwashers and/or Built-in ovens and/or for trash compactors.

The delivery team will not:

  • Cut or alter the manufacturer's attachments.
  • Place Merchandise on top of an elevator.

Commercial Units Delivery Information:

  1. Is basic installation included?
  2. Basic installation is not included with Commercial units. Delivery will be completed Threshold. Threshold delivery provides placement to the first dry area without packaging removal.

Built In Appliances Delivery Information:

  2. Basic installation is not included with built-in appliances.

All in One Laundry Units Delivery Information:

  1. Is basic installation included?
  2. Yes, basic installation is included for electric All in One Laundry units. Basic installation can only occur at the time of your scheduled delivery appointment.

    Is the hose included?

    No, service will be provided if new hoses and dryer vents are provided by customer to the delivery team at time of delivery

  3. Is Haul-Away included?
  4. Haul-Away is included for select major appliances. All commercial appliances are excluded from Haul-Away service. Haul-Away must be scheduled when booking your delivery appointment. This service can only be provided at the time of your delivery and must meet the Haul-Away Requirements.

  5. What should I expect upon delivery of my washing machine?
  6. When receiving your item, the delivery team will:

  • Remove shipping restraints; attach front legs; adjust rear legs.
  • Connect existing drain hose to new unit.
  • Connect new waterline hose kit to existing hot/cold taps.
  • Level appliance as required.
  • Check for water leaks.
  • Leave all "To be removed by recipient only" literature on/in the product where attached by the manufacturer.
  • Gather all other literature and provide them to the recipient.
  • Connect to an existing 220 volt outlet using a new "pigtail".
  • Connect dryer vent at the back and the side, only if the side vent connection is already installed.
  • Test the appliance to ensure it's in proper working condition.

The delivery team will not:

  • Hook up the washer if no electrical grounding is available.
  • Connect the new washer to old hoses. Old hoses must be disconnected from the home by the homeowner prior to delivery so that 2 new standard 6' Stainless Steel washer fill hoses can be installed by the delivery team. Custom new hoses are not available.
  • Connect the appliance to a ceiling vent.
  • Connect the new dryer to the old vent. The old vent must be disconnected from the home's venting system by the homeowner prior to delivery so that the new 8' Aluminum Foil dryer vent can be connected by the delivery team. Custom new vents are not available.
  • Install the appliance if the existing vent does not vent outside the home.
  • Install the appliance if the metal vent cannot be connected to an existing venting system.

Delivery completion Exclusions - During delivery, the delivery teams will not:

  • Remove spring-loaded, folding and sliding glass doors.
  • Remove windows.
  • Hoist Merchandise or lift product above their waist.
  • Place Merchandise on top of an elevator.
  • Perform carpentry work (removing molding/banisters drilling into recipient's walls or floors, etc.).
  • Perform electrical work (changing fuses, wiring within an electrical outlet).
  • The delivery team will not allow the recipient to carry Merchandise or assist with Merchandise hook-up.
  • The delivery team will not stack units using old stacking kits; kits must be new.
  • The delivery team will not stack a new unit onto an existing old unit.
  • The delivery team will not disconnect old units; old unit must be disconnected in order to hookup new units.
  • Cut or alter the manufacturer's attachments.
  • Disconnect water hoses from old unit and exiting hot/cold water taps
  • Disconnect water hoses from old unit and exiting hot/cold water taps
  • Disconnect drain hose from old unit (keep hose connected to wall to drain)
  • Reverse washer / dryer door
  • Unplug from wall outlet

If unable to complete a hook-up, the delivery team will:

Please note the following important information about our haul away service:

Haul Away must be ready and completed at the time of the delivery of your new order, please confirm haul away is required at the time of scheduling your delivery appointment.

Once shipped, the delivery teams will not:

  • Disconnect your old unit. You are responsible for ensuring your haul-away unit is
    • Unplugged from wall
    • Unhooked from any water supply
    • Unstacked
  • Remove the unit from the home if the unit
    • Is not clean on the outside/inside
    • Is not empty of all contents
    • Is still hooked up to the home
    • Is not the same size or smaller as the unit being delivered
    • Is not the same type as the unit being delivered (e.g. range for range, washer for washer, fridge for fridge)
    • Does not fit without removing your property door or the unit door; you are responsible for ensuring your haul away can fit outside your home by having the door(s) removed before the carrier arrives.
  • Will not leave refrigerators and freezers outside
  • Relocate or reconnect the old appliance to a new location at the address of delivery (inside or outside) or to a new address.
  • Haul Away your items if the haul away unit(s) are not inside your home or your garage due to sanitary reasons
  • Haul Away more units than what is being delivered
  • Hoist Merchandise or lift product above their waist

In the event these requirements are not followed, Haul Away will be declined.

This service only includes the removal of your old unit from your property and once removed the unit is now the property of the delivery company which may decide to dispose of, recycle or resell. In the province of Quebec, all cold appliances are recycled. The haul-away unit(s) cannot be returned to you once removed.

We are happy to offer same day delivery through DoorDash. In order to qualify, eligible orders must:

  • Be within a 15km radius of the following stores:
    • Saint John Kent store
    • Dartmouth Crossing Kent store
  • Have a total weight under 50lb and product length under 5 feet.
  • Same Day Delivery will not occur on holidays
  • Orders must be placed before 5 PM (Atlantic)
