For this project you will need:

Step 1
Ensure concrete floor is clean and dry. Put down your underlay vapour barrier, this provides vapour and thermal protection.
Step 2
Use a laser level to mark your first floorboard row against your wall. It is essential that your first row is straight as this lays the groundwork for all your floorboards. Use shims if necessary.
Step 3
All laminate flooring has a unique click/locking system, familiarize yourself with how your floor locks together. Using a beating block, connect boards and stagger seams at different levels until completion. Remove shims for trim install.
