DIY Cabinet Refresh

It is incredible what a fresh coat of paint and new hardware can do for your kitchen cabinets. Renew the look and feel of your entire kitchen with this simple and easy DIY project.

Step 1

Clean the entire surface with TSP (follow instructions on carton for this step). Rinse well with water.

Step 2

'Apply one coat of the appropriate primer, ask your KENT Paint Associate for details, allow to dry. Use a roller for larger areas and a brush to smaller ones. 

Step 3

Apply two coats of cabinet paint. Allow 24 hours between each application.

Step 4

Once the paint is dry, install the new hardware.

If your cabinets have a lot of detail work, use a 38mm angled brush to get into crevasses and ensure proper coverage.
