The self-locking fascia hanger is designed for a plumb or vertical fascia board installation. With the galvanized steel being 1" wide and 1/5" thick they are super strong. Quick installation where you place the back edge of the gutter into the hanger and simply push the bead in and down into place. The exterior hanger allows for the fascia board to breathe and dry out, minimizing rotting problems that otherwise are common. Suited for all construction and remodeling, this hanger is tested to the highest standards and strength classification available. Fasten the hanger with 2 stainless or exterior screws, min 1 3/4" long, per hanger. Avoid protruding screw heads since they will interfere with the backside of the gutter in this type of hanger. Calculate with one hanger per two feet of gutter.
