Contest begins at 12:00:01 AM (Atlantic) on July 8th, 2021 and ends at 11:59:59 PM (Atlantic) on July 28th, 2021 (the “Contest Period”).

To enter and to be eligible to win a Prize you must be a legal resident of Atlantic Canada who is 18 years of age or older at the time of entry, and an AIR MILES Collector (see sections 3 for details on how to enroll in the AIR MILES Reward Program). You are not eligible to enter if you are, reside with (whether or not related), or are an immediate family member of, an employee, director, officer, or retiree of the Sponsor, LoyaltyOne, Co. or their respective affiliated companies, agents, representatives, divisions, or franchisees. For the purpose of these Rules, “immediate family member” means spouse, parent, child, or sibling.

To enroll in the AIR MILES Reward Program and receive an AIR MILES Card, visit www.airmiles.ca. The AIR MILES Card can be obtained free of charge. By enrolling to become an AIR MILES Collector, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of the AIR MILES Reward Program.

Purchase Necessary: Make a qualifying purchase at any KENT store location during the Contest Period and present and scan your AIR MILES Card at the time of purchase and you will automatically receive one (1) entry into the Contest for the applicable Giveaway Period (see Giveaway Period info below). Get one (1) entry for every base AIR MILES Reward Mile earned during a transaction. No entry limits. Entries based on standard base AIR MILES Reward Miles earned, NOT AIR MILES Bonus Miles earned thorough Bonus Offer promotions. A minimum purchase of $20 before tax is required for a qualified entry, (purchases made on KENT charge accounts, KENT Financing deferred payments and gift cards are excluded from entry).

No Purchase Necessary: To automatically receive one (1) entry into the Contest without purchase, print your name as displayed on your AIR MILES Card, provide your AIR MILES Account Number, complete mailing address and telephone number on a plain piece of paper and mail it to the following address: KENT Marketing Department, PO Box 1200, 300 Union Street, Saint John, NB, E2L 4G7. No mechanical reproductions permitted. Entries must be readily legible. Qualifying mailed entries must be post marked by the contest end date (July 28th, 2021). Each mailed Entry must be in a separate postage-paid envelope. You will receive one (1) Entry into the Contest for each valid mailed entry received. Only one (1) entry per Collector Account per day will be permitted.

The Contest Period is divided into the following one (1) giveaway period (“Giveaway Period”). The Giveaway Period draw process is listed below. (the “Giveaway Period Draw”). Entries received during Giveaway Period will be entered into the applicable Giveaway Period Draw.

Odds of winning depend on number of entries received during the Contest Period and each Giveaway Period.

There is one (1) prize available to be won. The approximate retail value of AIR MILES Reward Miles prize depends on the chosen method of redemption, available Reward options at the time of redemption, and the set preference between AIR MILES Cash and AIR MILES Dream balances. If redeemed with AIR MILES Cash, 95 Cash Miles can be used in-store for $10 towards purchases at participating AIR MILES Partners or 95 Cash Miles can be used online for eVouchers for $10 worth of value at participating Reward Partners. If redeemed for flights (1200 Reward Mile minimum required for flight redemption), value depends on destination chosen, date of travel and use of multiple carriers or suppliers. For example, one return economy flight in low season departure from Toronto, Ontario to Winnipeg, Manitoba is 2000 AIR MILES Reward Miles and has an approximate value of $525.00 (Canadian) excluding taxes. Winner must pay applicable taxes, related transportation fees, governmental levies, excess baggage and other non-ticket costs. The value of AIR MILES Reward Miles used for non-flight Reward options depends on Reward options in effect at the time of redemption. AIR MILES Reward Miles prize is subject to the terms and conditions of the AIR MILES Reward Program as amended from time to time. AIR MILES Reward Miles prize is not transferable or convertible to cash and must be accepted as awarded. Limit of one (1) Prize per Collector Number during the Contest. The Sponsor reserves the right in the event that a Prize or any component of a Prize cannot be awarded as described for any reason, to substitute a similar Prize or component of Prize of equal or greater value without liability Giveaway Period, consisting of one (1) Grand Prize of 50,000 AIR MILES Reward Miles.

AIR MILES Reward Miles Prize will be posted directly into the AIR MILES Collector Account of the confirmed winner within six to eight weeks after the random drawing. To ensure that the winner receives the Prize in his or her preferred balance, winner should ensure his or her balance preferences (AIR MILES Cash Account and AIR MILES Dream Account) are set as desired prior to the Prize being posted in their Collector Account.

One (1) entrant will be selected by random draw for the Grand Prize. All draws will take place at KENT Head Office in Saint John, NB, at approximately 10:00 AM (Atlantic) and will occur on the dates listed in above in Rule 5. For the purposes of these Contest Rules, the Entrant is the individual in whose name the AIR MILES Collector Number has been established and this is the individual to whom the prize will be awarded if he/she/they is selected and declared a winner.

The Selected Entrant will be contacted by telephone and/or email within ten (10) business days of the applicable Giveaway Period draw date at the number/address associated with their AIR MILES account (the “Notification”). Selected Entrant must respond to Notification within 5 business days thereof. Failure to respond to the Notification within the time stipulated will result in disqualification at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. The Sponsor is not responsible for the accuracy of the contact information associated with entrants’ AIR MILES account and shall have no liability for a Selected Entrant’s failure to receive or respond to the Notification.

To be declared a Contest winner and receive a Prize, each Selected Entrant must first correctly answer a skill testing question and sign a release in the form provided by Sponsor, confirming compliance with the Contest Rules, and accept the Prize as awarded, without substitution, and releasing the Sponsor, LoyaltyOne, Co., KENT Building Supplies, and their respective shareholders, directors, officers, employees, agents, representatives, affiliates, successors and assigns (collectively, the “Releasees”) from any liability in connection with the Contest or any Prize. The Release Form must be returned within the time period specified by Sponsor or Prize may be forfeited at sole discretion of Sponsor. If any Selected Entrant (a) fails to meet the conditions set out above, (b) does not respond to the Notification within the time stipulated, or (c) does not meet Contest eligibility requirements or is not fully compliant with the Contest Rules, Sponsor may, in its sole discretion without right of appeal, disqualify a Selected Entrant and select an alternate Selected Entrant by random draw (as set out in section 9 hereof) until all Contest winners are declared.

Prizes will be directly credited to the confirmed winner’s AIR MILES Account within six (6) to eight (8) weeks of a Selected Entrant being confirmed a Contest winner.

The Sponsor, LoyaltyOne, Co. and KENT Building Supplies shall have no liability for loss, damage or claims caused by or resulting from the Contest or acceptance of a Prize. The Sponsor will not be responsible for late, lost, illegible, incomplete, falsified or destroyed entries and all such entries are void. Entries that have been falsified, tampered with or altered are void. The Sponsor, LoyaltyOne, Co. and KENT Building Supplies shall not be liable for incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry information, technical malfunctions, human or technical error, printing errors, lost, delayed or garbled data or transmissions, omission, interruption, deletion, defect or failures of any telephone or computer lines or networks, computer equipment, software or any combination thereof. Entry material/data that have been tampered with or altered are void. In the event it is determined that an entrant has entered in a fashion not sanctioned by these Rules and/or has submitted more than the number of entries permitted by these Rules, all of the entries submitted by the entrant will be disqualified. The Sponsor reserves the right to terminate or suspend this Contest or to amend the Rules at any time and in any way, without prior notice. Without limiting the foregoing, if, for any reason, the Contest is not capable of running as originally planned, the Sponsor reserves the right, to cancel the Contest and conduct a draw from all previously received eligible entries received.

The Sponsor respects your right to privacy. Personal information collected from entrants will only be used by the Sponsor or its representatives to administer the Contest. By entering the Contest, entrants consent to the manner of collection, use and disclosure of personal information as set out in the Sponsor’s privacy statement, which is available at: www.kent.ca

By entering the Contest, each entrant agrees (a) that any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Contest or any Prize shall be resolved in accordance with the laws of the Province of New Brunswick and federal laws applicable therein, and (b) to irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Province of New Brunswick over any claim or matter arising under or in connection with the Contest or these Official Rules & Regulations.
